Cleaned to a high standard and pet free. The cottage sleeps 6 people (including children) maximum.
The cottage is all ground level (1 step) with 3 double, cottage size, bedrooms.Divided by the original, thick barn walls.
Master bedroom has a luxurious king size bed & en suite bathroom. 2 further bedrooms, have 6 ft and 5 ft wide zip & link beds (can be divided) . All with wardrobes & drawers.
2 lovely bathrooms with great showers & heated towel rails. En-suite has a large shower cubicle. Family bathroom has a large bath & shower over.
Separate sitting room has floor to ceiling windows & views over countryside. Seating for 6. TV, DVD, WiFi (ask for details), books, games etc. to enjoy.
Wonderful, large dining kitchen with Shaker style cupboards, bespoke breakfast larder, solid oak worktops, peninsula unit and a TV for the chef! Includes an American Fridge with ice-maker, double oven Range Cooker, Dishwasher,integrated microwave and a quiet Washer/Dryer.
Dining table, 6 comfy dining chairs and a pew! Doors open to the courtyard.
Enclosed courtyard with pretty lighting, garden furniture and barbecue. Through the gate from the courtyard, is a large enclosed lawn, ideal for picnics and ball games.
Fuel, Linen and a welcome tea tray, and many household basics are provided. Ample car parking on the driveway behind the cottage.
Lots places to walk and cycle locally, just step outside and explore! Including the owners 30 acres of private wildflower meadow and woodland nearby.
The picturesque Roman City of Lincoln has a wonderful Cathedral, Castle with the Magna Carta and 2016 Poppy exhibition from the Tower of London. Waterfront, Museums & Galleries, cobbled streets,independent shops and restaurants, you will find lots to do! Steep Hill was voted Britain's best Street & Lincoln was one of The Sunday Times top 10 towns.
The Lincolnshire Wolds has pretty villages and market towns. Under an hours drive to the coast and enjoy miles of deserted beaches or seaside resorts.Lots of Historic Houses. Lincolnshire is great for antique hunting in Horncastle, Newark & Hemswell.
Lincolnshire has a wonderful Aviation history with many airfields & museums.
Lots of things to see which you will not find anywhere else! Including the BBMF RAF Conningsby, home to Britain's only airworthy Lancaster Bomber.
Many guests return to the cottage.

Whichever of our Lincolnshire cottage holidays you choose, you can be sure of a very pleasant surprise when you arrive in this peaceful, almost timeless place. It may be one of the largest of Britain’s counties, but it remains one of the least well-known. Here you’ll find wide-open spaces, far horizons and room to breathe, not to mention some excellent locally-sourced food.
Perhaps most striking are the Lincolnshire Wolds, where most of our Lincolnshire holiday cottages are located. Unlike the rest of the county, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts rolling hills, deep valleys and is ideal touring country. In complete contrast, there’s Lincolnshire’s Fun Coast, miles of sandy beaches stretching from Skegness to Mablethorpe which attracts families in search of its many seaside attractions and shows.
Not be missed is historic Lincoln, complete with its famous cathedral and medieval buildings as well as a Norman Castle where you can see one the few original copies of Magna Carta. To the south lies Stamford, a perfectly preserved Georgian Town, which featured in the TV adaptation of Middlemarch. Make sure you pay a visit to nearby Burghley House, one of our grandest Elizabethan houses.
